Hotel Hotel turns the luxury hotel concept upside down by making luxury a natural (and welcome) afterthought and instead keeping art, design and collaboration at the forefront. Located in New Acton, Canberra’s art and design precinct, this is not just another boutique art hotel – it’s an intense collaboration of 56 (and counting) artists, designers and makers that bring together what could be described as Australia’s quintessential modern design aesthetic ”“which visibly borrows influence from sculpture and geometry.

The rooms each have a distinct character and are furnished with one off designs, reimagined mid-century modern furniture, raw and natural materials with a mix of textures and colors. The theme of art, design and collaboration follows seamlessly throughout the Hotel where guests can visit the foyer’s art and design marketplace, library, bar, lounge and even a secret garden.
