Art Find: Camden Arts Centre London
First impressions are deceiving when you arrive outside this former Victorian library in the heart of North London bohemia. Camden Arts Centre has long been an institution of alternative artistic development with a focus of public participation at the core of its exhibitions, which are by emerging and established artists.
Look out for the artist in residence taking part in the centre’s critically acclaimed residency programme and off-site projects that promote public art and education across the Borough of Camden.
The centre also offers a garden and café that is popular with Londoners looking for some creative time out as well as a destination bookshop, which stocks titles and editions from international artists involved in Camden Arts Centre’s critical career.
