Clerkenwell London opened its doors in September 2015 – absorbing the essence of its location to curate a space that produces an intellectual energy and a lingering education of style. Throughout the extensive space, there are strong undertones through materiality with each area gaining its own identity through subtle themes.

On the store’s concourse you will find ceramics, stationery, textiles and jewellery all thoughtfully displayed. You can then step through to the in-house perfumery, which houses candles and scents from Synthesia and an opportunity to create your own bespoke scent. The womenswear enclave with its carpet of golden parquet allows you to sample carefully selected pieces from local designers including The Bethnals, Marina London, Genevieve Sweeney and Blake London.

The ground floor is also home to the Vinyl Lounge – offering the perfect surrounds for a coffee or Martini with its effortless Danish west coast feel. You can also spend an evening in the polished 155 Bar & Kitchen bistro for a contemporary seasonal meal.

Discretely located in the basement are private dining rooms for intimate gatherings and a wine library, stocked with New World wines. The menswear is a further extension of the luxurious experience with pieces from Soulland and Kardo Design. Partitioned by a leather-clad wall, majestic pieces of furniture are also positioned amongst silver birch trees.

Clerkenwell London adds numerous layers to the idea of a lifestyle store by offering perceptive and experiential nourishment. Everything is an event for the eyes.
