Fashion Boutique Find: Rachel Comey NYC
A downtown jaunt around Soho would take you to familiar spots that would warm any New Yorker’s heart – homegrown pizza joints that have been run over many generations, that famous deli down the road known for their freshly cut meats which will make all of your co-workers jealous; and of course – some of the best retail therapy that the city has to offer.
NYC based designer Rachel Comey recently opened her first brick-and-mortar shop on Crosby Street, a mere hop, skip and jump from her home next door. Known for her love of layers and downtown chic aesthetic, there was no better place than Soho to set up her flagship boutique.
The interior space features natural materials such as concrete and wood paneling juxtaposed with luxurious velvet curtains and custom-made burgundy leather couches. There is no doubt that before long, Comey’s store will be as loved and revered as the many establishments that make Soho home.
