Good Coffee Find: Tap Coffee London
I first ventured into TAP Coffee on Wardour Street in search of cold brew coffee – the ‘in’ thing to drink at the mo. TAP delivered in spades, serving the punchy chilled beverage in a brown glass bottle labelled with an oh-so-hipster luggage tag. Combined with top-notch cakes (baked on the premises) and a rustic interior with no detail spared (treacle cans act as sugar pots, and all teaspoons are mismatched and vintage), I was in love.
Whether you’re after filter coffee from a drip cone, espresso-based drinks from the Simonelli machine, or an iced latte shaken and served in a jam jar, TAP’s decoratively tattooed, expert baristas will please even the most seasoned coffee drinker.
With three outposts in the Soho/Fitzrovia vicinity, TAP has got your central London caffeine fix covered, with a huge dose of hipster style.
