The striking coloured cowhide commanding ELEMENTARY Store’s shop front lures you into a space that pays homage to functional, simple and beautiful design. ELEMENTARY was founded in 2014 by duo Athena Peletidou and Kataro Kanai – their impeccable style is evident through the synchronicity of the unique selection of furniture and objects that populate the space.

Well-known designers such as Arne Jacobson and Walter Gropius are in good company beside the ELEMENTARY editions range, which is handcrafted in Greece by local artisans. A Japanese influence is also present through the display of Kabazaiku traditional Japanese cherry-bark craftwork containers. Clean glassware essentials and tasteful ceramics line the shelving and decorous Produzione Privata lighting hangs from the ceiling.

True to its name, ELEMENTARY celebrates the form, materiality and texture of objects in a genuine and discrete way – transporting inspiration from around the world.
