Dover Street Market London has long been they city’s most cutting-edge shopping experience. In fact, the six-floor department store situated inside a converted Georgian building could be described as a modern avant-garde fashion museum based on its marvelous concessions designed by minimalists inspired by beautiful chaos.

Inside you’ll shop expertly curated high fashion pieces (this is not a store for fashion’s faint hearted!) from the likes of Comme de Garçons’ Raf Simmons, Hedi Slimane, Junya Watanabe, Alaïa, Céline, and Sacai to name just a few.

Even if you’re a London local, the store is worth revisiting every six months to see the dynamic interiors after the “tachiagri” event, where the store encourages designers to adapt the space in the tone of their collections.

When you arrive, remember to start from the bottom and work your way up to the top floor, as hopefully you’ll have some leftover money for a snack at DSM’s remarkable little café, the Rose Bakery.
