May’s Spotify playlist features indie soul singer Emily King’s new track Distance. Her soothing folky sound is captured impeccably in the music video directed by Paul Jung, whose career we should all be keeping a very close eye on.

Jung interprets the soulful track with his signature stripped down style, this time with a literal splash of contrasting colour, which enhances the emotional sound through its visual fluidity and sophistication. Watching it once is not enough.
