This summer, the outdoor party relocated from a grassy knoll over at the Gowanus canal to a tree-lined courtyard between two imposing Industry City warehouses. While Brooklynites certainly miss the intimacy of the Gowanus location, this new one takes the beloved Sunday party up a few notches in scale but also in atmosphere.

Inside, people and canines of all ages are welcome so long as they’re friendly. Sottocasa, Brooklyn’s preferred pizza monger is present along with good vibes house music and inexpensive drinks, which are served between 3pm to 9pm every Sunday.

But what makes Mister Sunday stand out as the best weekly bash of the summer are the low-key partygoers it attracts. This is a crowd that’s serious about having good old-fashioned dance floor fun and jovially respects Mister Sunday’s clearly laid out (and very important) dance floor etiquette guidelines ”“ no phones, photos or smoking – just dancing and good times.
