Restaurant Find: Nom Wah Tea Parlor NYC
This restaurant is worth visiting for the history alone. Dating back to 1920, Nom Wah Tea Parlor is the oldest dim sum restaurant in NYC! Head here for freshly cooked dim sum (made-to-order, not carted around the restaurant) and order the Shrimp and Snow Pea Leaf Dumpling pictured above. A great weekend yum cha outing for a group of your friends if you don’t mind hanging out on Doyers street for around 30 minutes (no bookings).
Best Bit: The classic American mid-century interior remains and it’s so charming!
