Restaurant Find: OPSO London
When the translation of a restaurant’s name is “a delectable morsel of food”, it sets your hopes pretty high. Enter OPSO, and its menu of award-winning cocktails and updated Greek classics that are designed to share. And to confirm: Yes, this Marylebone restaurant thankfully blows the translation of its name out of the water.
The food is exceptional, but it’s another element of the restaurant that’s likely to stick in your mind when you think of this venue in the future: the unique interior design. Tables are set in amongst the limbs of a steel frame that crisscrosses the entire restaurant, around and above diners, accented with terracotta pots and trailing plants. Add in a hand-laid mosaic floor, and blue and white tiled walls, and you’ve got a super modern Mediterranean vibe – that begs to be photographed.
